Two Burger Recipes (for picky eaters)
Coming from someone with a family filled with picky eaters, it’s understandable to be bored of making and eating the same bland food. If you want to start cooking and maybe are struggling to find recipes with ingredients you like or your friends and family will like, here are two relatively easy recipes with adjustable and simple ingredients being put together to create delicious food.
Burger Ingredients:
1 lb extra-lean ground beef
1 inch of salt & pepper
Cheddar cheese slices(optional)
4 buns of choice
2 tbsp butter
1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
Ketchup
Steps:
Form beef into 4 balls with salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and “smash” into patties. Cook for 3-4 minutes then flip and cook for another 2.
Add cheese if you wish and place the lid over the skillet so the cheese melts.
Remove the patties from the skillet and place to the side. Wipe the skillet clean.
Butter the buns and place them on the skillet. Put the skillet on med-high heat. Wait 2 minutes until buns are lightly toasted or continue until desired amount of toast.
Assemble burgers with lettuce and ketchup.

BEC Biscuits Ingredients:
2 Cups self-rising flour
2 Cups Greek yogurt nonfat plain
½ tsp. Salt
1 pinch white pepper
7 large Eggs
7 slices of bacon fully cooked
4 Slices of 2% milk American Cheese
Steps:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Mix flour, salt, and yogurt until the dough looks well combined.
Pat out the dough on a flat surface until it’s about ½ inch thick. Using a biscuit cutter (sprayed with nonstick cooking spray) cut out 9 biscuits. Bake for 19-22 minutes or until golden brown on top of a pan.
While your biscuits are baking, use a fork to whisk together 7 eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook eggs on low heat on a skillet until the edges are done and then flip over. Continue cooking until you can slide the cooked egg right out of the pan. Using your biscuit cutter, cut out 9 egg rounds and lay ½ slice of cheese on top.
Heat your pre-cooked microwave as directed on the box and dab grease off.
Cut the biscuit in half and place a cheese topped egg on the biscuit then add a strip of bacon on top of that and sandwich together with the top of the biscuit.
