Redemption

Crows cry in the sky
Everything went the wrong way
With your harmful lie

My money all gone
Felt abandoned in the wild
Night came to despair

All filled with terror
The hotbed of growing fear
Devouring my will

My heart was falling
As snow touched the veil of night
Time passed fast as wind

Soon plucked up courage
Admiring the sun’s beauty
Ignited my hope

Sun shined dazzlingly
Reflected on twinkling white
Oh the algid light
