The Blair Sneaker Club is a club at Blair that runs sneaker drives and raffle events. The club is run by Ethan Lo ’25 and Minh Anh Vo ’25. In the 2022-2023 school year, four events were held. The first event was a fall shoe drive right after Thanksgiving break. Faculty and students contributed significantly including a generous donation from Blair Basketball’s Mr. Mantegna. Around 98 pairs and 9k worth of shoes were collected from the drive. The club delivered the shoes to the organization “Kicks for Kids,” right before Christmas came around. Aside from helping out the community, it was a great experience for everyone to interact with different people through this event. After the shoe drive, the club held several shoe raffles that had proceeds going to organizations that help those in need. The club is looking forward to expanding the types of events they do in the future.
