Image Use Blair Academy strictly prohibits the use, reproduction, redistribution and/or exploitation of School images for commercial purposes without express, written permission from the Timken Library director or communications department. Although images published by the School in the public domain (i.e., on Flickr) may be used non-commercially without requesting permission, the use of any graphic from the Blair Archives or the School’s official, non-public collection must be pre-approved.
Requests related to historic images that are part of Blair’s Archives should be directed to Timken Library Director Ann Williams, and requests related to images in Blair’s private digital archive and any graphic published on Blair’s website should be directed to Communications Director Suzy Logan. The School reserves the right to deny any request for any reason, and archival images will be watermarked until approval for commercial or non-commercial use is granted.
