Writing on a Train of Thought
Sabrina Helck
As I begin to write I begin to think about where this will take me,
Where I might travel to with my writing.
I enter a train station filled with many different routes,
Having to figure out which train route I must go on.
I may not find the right train at first, but eventually I will.
I will just have to explore the different options.
Finally I find the right train that brings me to the place I want to be,
But the train ride isn’t always comfortable;
It can be bumpy and winding,
It can be smooth and relaxing.
I can just look out the window,
Just me and my thoughts,
A train of thought.
A thought that leads to writing.
Writing that can lead to infinite possibilities.
