This week began Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. With 30 eligible bachelors headed to the mansion, tensions were high as the men prepared to compete for the one and only Hannah Beast.
The beginning of the episode showcased some key men including: Tyler, a 22-year-old contractor from Florida; Peter, a 27-year-old pilot from California; Mike, a 31-year-old air force veteran from Texas; and Luke, a 24-year-old import/export manager from Georgia.
The first entrance was Garrett, a medical sales rep from Nevada. There were other notable entrances: Connor, a 24-year-old investment analyst from Georgia, who literally (like Colton) jumped a fence for Hannah; Matt Donald, a salesman from California, who came in on a tractor and sang his own lyrics to the song “Old MacDonald;” and Cam, a sales manager from Texas, who, like on the finale of Colton’s season of The Bachelor, created a rap to perform for her.
Once everyone was inside, Hannah gave her opening toast about how she’s not perfect, but she will always be real, and that’s what she wants from the men.
Then it was time for the men to get to know Hannah on their first, and possibly last, night. Luke was the first to grab Hannah’s attention, and then the drama began…
Hannah’s old friends from Colton’s season of The Bachelor, Katie and Demi came to help their friend prepare for her night. They also however, came with news. Demi Burnett, a fan favorite, had found out one of the contestants, Scott, had a girlfriend back home! Hannah sent him packing right away.
The first impression rose, the most coveted prize of the night, was handed to Luke S. for the compassion he exhibited towards Hannah after she was upset by the drama with Scott.
As always, the night concluded with a rose ceremony and below is the list of contestants who went home and who will be continuing their journey:
Joe the Box King
Donald the Tractor Rider
John Paul Jones
