Mollie Sysler is a senior at Blair and a prefect in Locke. She enjoys having the opportunity to get closer with freshman and sophomore students living in the dorm with her, and she tries her best to make everyone feel welcomed into the Blair community.
Her three years at the Oracle have been full of valuable experiences that helped her become a better writer and editor, which has allowed her to more clearly express her thoughts and interests in articles.
She is also an aspiring nurse who wants to work in pediatric oncology one day. She also wants to help inmates in the prison system obtain health care.
She also loves knitting different kinds of clothes, especially hats. She is constantly knitting hats for those in need. Last year, she knitted hats for kids who have cancer. She also crochets and does needlepoint to donate to patients as well as healthcare workers. She hopes to help as many people as possible using her talents.
She loves Blair’s enthusiastic, family-like atmosphere and she’s inspired and excited by her friends and teachers. Despite the difficulties this year has presented, she has nevertheless enjoyed a lot of amazing opportunities provided by Blair. The St. Jude’s trip last February was a highlight for her.
