Easton Market Trip

One weekend in January, Mrs. Sykes took a group of six students to the Easton Public Market in Easton, PA, to enjoy some wonderful food, a nice change from the usual on-campus fare. Walking around the Market was similar to walking around a mini version of Disney’s Epcot, with food from all over the world, from ramen noodles to crepes.
I bought a crepe and it was delicious, to say the least. A nice blend of Nutella, peanut butter, and banana. The crepe melted in my mouth, making it feel as if I was eating a cloud rather than a crepe.
The Market was very close to the Crayola Factory, so, if you are interested in art, it is a great place to get some supplies. Although slightly overpriced, the factory offers many art materials, such as crayons and markers in interesting colors. I settled on purchasing a pack of bath crayons, and my hallway’s shared bathroom has become decorated in easy to wash off messages and art, adding some much needed color to the dull bathroom.
Even though the trip was not very long, it was a great way to spend some time on what would otherwise have been a slow Sunday afternoon. With the delicious food, Crayola factory, and cute shops surrounding the area, I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun day!
