On March 6th, Blair Academy held two standardized tests: a diagnostic ACT and SAT for sophomores and juniors respectively. The majority of students found taking the test stressful.
After the tests, one of the students from the sophomore class, Rory Borealis ’21 said, “I was definitely not ready for this test. I am very happy that it is over.” Another student from the sophomore class, Bev Da Costa ’21 also mentioned, “The idea of getting timed during a test pressures me. I do not like standardized tests.” Irene Jung ’21 added, “My calculator was taken away because it was too advanced. I couldn’t finish my test.”
On March 30th, Blair Academy is holding another diagnostic SAT for sophomores.
The tests were a good reminder for both classes about the approaching college application deadlines.
