April 7
by Ethan Simon ’15
I was born in an alley
I lost what was most important to me in three fleeting moments
A ring of circular white evil round my mother’s neck
2 shots and a blow to a young boy
Now I watch my city
In it’s darkest hour I am called by a light in the sky
It is asked of me I bring to light my own demons
In cowl I know this city, I am what it deserves
